Syracuse Nostalgia basically started in 2005 when I did an online search for Penn Can Mall and found nothing. So, I decided to take some pictures and home videos I had and make my own Penn Can Mall site. The site generated a lot of interest so, in 2007, I decided to expand the content to include all of Syracuse and started Syracuse Nostalgia.

Much of the content on this site is from my own collection, but a lot of the pictures and other items were sent in by people who wanted to share their collection. Every picture on this site was posted online for the first time. Nothing was found elsewhere and re-posted. If you'd like to re-post any picture please give credit and a link back to this site. If you have any old Syracuse related pictures or other items you'd like to share please send them to syrnostalgia@gmail.com. If you have any old video tapes (Betamax, VHS, Umatic) that may contain local news or other footage please also send me an email.
