Cicero : Images Of America
In 2009, Arcadia Publishing released Cicero, by Cicero Historian Thomas B. Mafrici and Elizabeth A. August, in their Images Of America series. I've just finished reading this book. I especially enjoyed the hundreds of vintage pictures they included and I was very impressed by the detailed descriptions of each and every photo. The authors obviously put in a lot of time and effort into this detail. Personally, I enjoyed finding out where each picture was taken and what stands in these locations today.
The following photos are from Mr. Mafrici's collection but are not included in the above book. However, Thomas Mafrici has added a description of each photo. I'd like to thank him for contributing all of these photos to Syracuse Nostalgia and for taking the time to add comments to each of them.
