Like previous episodes, “Syracuse Nostalgia Podcast – Episode 5” contains three segments. In the first segment, host Brian Hamilton and his friends Bob Staffa and Zadoc Angell talk about their memories of Penn Can Mall and other shopping centers. Segment two of the show features an interview with Peter Zangari. Peter’s family owned many businesses in the Syracuse area over the past 100 years. He shares many stories about Syracuse's dark past that are not often written about in history books - including murder, theft, coverups, bootlegging, etc. The third segment of the show features a song from Born Again Savages from 1994. Also included in the show are old Syracuse commercials and more surprises!
